Sure Start Early Childhood Education Centre, located on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, provides good quality care for children from babies to school age.  The centre is divided into two groups.

The nursery space located in the Villa caters for ages from 0 – 2 years old.   Teachers believe in a loving, calm, nurturing environment that is physically and emotionally secure.

The second space caters for ages from 2 – 5 years and is situated in our Three Bears log cabin, located on the same property, and is designed for active toddler,  promoting friendships and appreciation of the natural environment.

The philosophy of the service is evident in practice.  Children move freely around indoor and outdoor environments, easily accessing the resources that support their play and learning.  Children are happy, well settled and have a sense of belonging in the centre.

Opening Hours

Mon to Fri 7.30am to 5.30pm

We close on public holidays and for roughly two weeks over Christmas each year.

We offer 20 hours ECE and WINZ subsidies.
